Munch. Nosh. Addictingly smoky and spicy. This beer nut receipe made with almonds is easier than you think.
3 cups raw almonds
Place on an cookie tray and bake at 350 degrees F for 12 minutes.
When complete, let cool.
In a saucepan, heat up:
3 Tbs Haht Syrup
2 Tbs Water
2 Tsp oil
Bring to a boil, then add nuts to saucepan. Stir to cover all nuts with mixture and cook until no more syrup mixture is left.
Sprinkle a 1/4 tsp of Chipotle Pepper powder over nuts.
In a separate bowl, mix up:
1/4 cup organic sugar ( or raw)
1/2 Tsp salt
1/4 Tsp Cayenne pepper
Pour over almonds and mix until all nuts are covered.
Cover cookie sheet with wax paper. Place almond mixtue on cookie sheet with wax paper and spread out so they can dry.
Put in a dry cool place for 2 hours - then enjoy.
